##A high quality remake of the classic family adventure film, Return to The Blue Lagoon. There is nothing like a good old fashioned family adventure film, but sometimes they can feel dated. This time around, though, it is not only refreshing but also more than worth your time to watch Return to The Blue Lagoon. Released in 1991 and now remastered in 1080P HD with it's original soundtrack remastered by Jarre-Atlas Productions (yes the same company that did films like Moonraker and Raiders of the Lost Ark), this film captures everything you loved about films from that era while still feeling new. The story is of a young boy named Alex, who is raised by his parents to be the perfect man. They teach him to act civilized and forget how to act like animals. But when they are killed, he is raised by natives who treat him like one of their own until he is returned to live with his uncle. As you can tell, though, this film has more than just an interesting plot but also some amazing visuals that show off the beauty of the island setting. The Blue Lagoon takes place in an exotic location that adds plenty of adventure and romance for this old school family adventure film. There are plenty of things to love about Return to the Blue Lagoon. Not only are the characters all very likable, but they are also memorable which is essential in any family adventure film. You want them to stick with you long after the end credits have rolled. Also, unlike many modern family adventure films, this one does not go for cheap humor or silly characters who exist only to make the film more humorous. Instead it takes elements of classic family adventure films and brings them into a modern setting that is both amazing and beautiful.
